The Story
Torres is known for producing original truffle crisps that over the years many other crisp manufacturers have tried, and mostly failed at replicating. Established in 1969 in Barcelona, the family-owned company pioneered the premium hand-cooked crisp category in Spain and has maintained uncompromising quality standards for over five decades.
Their secret recipe combines carefully selected Spanish potatoes with genuine dehydrated black summer truffle (Tuber aestivum), creating an authentic truffle flavour that distinguishes these crisps from inferior imitations using synthetic flavouring alone. The potatoes are hand-cooked in small batches using traditional methods, then delicately seasoned whilst still warm to ensure the truffle essence permeates each crisp.
